To mark the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day 2017, the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP) released the music video “Aao Humaray Saath Chalo” – a song sung by Ali Hamza and written by Zehra Nigah. March 21st is recognised as World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) and campaigns and events take place around the world to celebrate all those who are born with the extra 21st chromosome and to call for an inclusive, tolerant society where people of all abilities are given a chance to participate. KDSP hopes that through this music video, its message goes out loud and clear: as a society, we are stronger by accepting and celebrating our differences, be they based on ability, gender, caste or creed.
KDSP proudly presents "Aao Humaray Saath Chalo" – a song about inclusion to mark World Down Syndrome Day 2017. This song and its video would not have been possible without the love, tireless efforts and sincere dedication of Apa Zehra Nigah, Ali Hamza, Amaan Ahmed and his team at Uncut Studios, Hasan Rizvi and his team at BB Events & PR, Sarwat Gillani, Bushra Ansari, Momal sheikh, Javed Sheikh, Sheema Kermani, Ahsan Khan, Anoushey Ashraf, Ehtesham Ansari, Nabila's Saloon, N-Gents, and the incredible kids and families who participated. Please share and spread the love ❤️Aao Humaray Saath Chalo!#WDSD17 #awareness #inclusion #KDSP #KarachiDownSyndromeProgram #AaoHumaraySaathChalo #AaoHumareSaathChalo
